Should Malaysian mothers be as equally entitled as Malaysian fathers to pass on their citizenship to their children born overseas? Should Article 8 which protects against gender discrimination be applied to the citizenship provisions in the Federal Constitution? In this webinar, our speakers will discuss the arguments for gender equality regarding citizenship for children born outside Malaysia and the latest decisions on this issue by the courts.
