3:00 pm – 3:45 pm Breach of Contract: The COVID-19 Aftermath
About this talk
Are your contracts in jeopardy due to the movement control orders? Most businesses have been adversely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and the Government-imposed lockdowns. In an attempt to mitigate the fallout, the Government finally gazetted the Temporary Measures for Reducing the Impact of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Act 2020 (“COVID Act“) on 23.10.2020. This talk will discuss the COVID Act generally, with a focus on its effect on construction contracts, tenancy agreements, contracts relating to events and services and sales and purchase agreements. Please join us and sign up! The talk will be delivered over video conference using Zoom.us. You can either view the talk from your web browser or the Zoom app (download the app here).
