The Law Career Convention 2014 is an annual event organized by the Law Society, University of Malaya with the purpose of giving an early exposure to all law students in general with regards to their career prospects in the legal industry. The event is a platform for law students to meet with their potential employers, as well as an opportunity for firms to attract bright and highly-motivated individuals with strong-academic credentials and solid work ethics to join their teams.

MWKA was pleased to support the project as a booth sponsor for the first time this year

We welcomed the opportunity to interact and network with the next generation of legal talent, and looked forward to understanding the current working attitude and expectations of students. Majority of the attendees were enthusiastic and keen in asking questions and seeking advice on employment prospects.

MWKA was excited to share insights about the local legal fraternity, and guidance on the varied legal career paths that were available to students upon their graduation. We were also eager to highlight our firm’s vision and how we have built a work-culture based on the foundation of mutual respect among all members of our firm, and a warm and friendly environment enables us to foster a dynamic team of lawyers and staff geared towards bringing out the best of each other’s potential. We hope to team up with the Law Society again for next year’s convention.
