Christine Toh graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of London (External) in 2012 and completed her Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in 2013. She read in the Chambers of Vin & Isaac Lee and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in November 2014.

She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Business System from Monash University in 2004 and had completed her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) exams in 2006. She became a member of ACCA in 2009. Christine was working abroad with BDO McCabe Lo Ltd (Hong Kong) before she returned home to join BDO Binder and subsequently BDO Consulting Sdn Bhd. Before she left the accounting profession, she was actively involved in the internal and external auditing companies listed in Toronto, Hong Kong, Malaysia Stock Exchange.

Christine joined MahWengKwai & Associates as an associate in July 2016 and was recognised as a senior associate in January 2018. Christine was made a partner of the firm in March 2019.

Christine’s primary areas of practice are construction (adjudication, arbitration and litigation), debt recovery and corporate disputes.
